Three part installation (video, peat samples spanning 7,000 years, swan garment)

In cooperation with the Stiftung Kunst und Natur Nantesbuch and the ERES Foundation Munich for the exhibition Forest Without Trees in Art and Science at the ERES Foundation (2020/2021).

Only through the drainage of peatlands can trees begin to grow there. They act as indicators of disturbance and do not belong in this environment, much like a swan would be out of place in a bog. Humans encroach upon areas where they disrupt a delicate ecological balance. This work was shown at the beginning of the pandemic, which gave it renewed relevance.
