For the publication "Von der Mitte gehalten" (Claudius Verlag) artist and photographer Miriam Ferstl was taking pictures of chandeliers from a special perspective centrally from below in sacred buildings and places of contemplation. The images of chandeliers radiate the beauty of structures arranged around a center. They recall forms from nature, snowflakes, microorganisms, the branching of a tree or flower forms. A play of forms of unity and diversity emerges in her photographs, for which the author and labyrinth researcher Gernot Candolini has written texts. The publication contains over 60 images from five countries.
